Applies to vehicles: with luggage compartment cover
The luggage compartment cover can be secured in position -A- or in the convenience position -B- Fig. 1.
Hooking into place / unhooking
The cover can only be hooked into place/unhooked in position -A-.
Pull out the cover and hook it into the retainers on the side trim in position -A-.
Convenience position
The cover can be left in position -B- when loading the luggage compartment.
To move the luggage compartment cover from the fully extended position to position -B-, tap underneath the end of the cover and it will automatically slide into position -B- Fig. 1.
Removing
Pull the lever in the direction of the arrow Fig. 2 and simultaneously lift off the cover.
Installing
Place the left end of the cover in the left mounting in the side trim.
Place the right end of the cover in the right mounting and press it down until you hear it engage.
WARNING!
The luggage compartment cover should not be used as a storage shelf. Items placed on this cover could cause injury in an accident or if the brakes are applied suddenly.
Caution!
To prevent any damage, let the luggage compartment cover retract slowly after unhooking it.
