Do not use any force when inserting a CD/DVD into the drive. The CD/DVD will be drawn into the slot automatically.
Make sure that a CD/DVD is not already loaded in the drive -2- Fig. 1.
Insert the CD/DVD into the drive -2-, keeping it level (printed side facing upwards).
