Important: Navigation mode must be activated Link.
Town/post code
Press the control button for Destination Fig. 1.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Address and press to confirm.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Town/post code and press the rotary pushbutton. The speller will appear on the MMI display Link.
Enter the town or the post code.
Press the control button for List to select a town from the list.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to mark a town and press the rotary pushbutton.
To enter additional data for the navigation destination, turn the rotary pushbutton to Add street, Set as stopover, Set special destination in town Link or Set district and press to confirm.
Enter additional information.
To start route guidance, turn the rotary pushbutton to Start route guidance and press to confirm. The route criteria and subsequently the map will be shown on the MMI display.
Street
Press the control button for Destination Fig. 1.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Address and press to confirm.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Street and press the rotary pushbutton. A list with the last towns entered will appear on the MMI display.
To select a street in a specific town, turn the rotary pushbutton to a town and press it, or
To select a street irrespective of the town, turn the rotary pushbutton to In all towns and press the rotary pushbutton. The speller will appear on the MMI display Link.
Enter the street.
Press the control button for List to select a street from the list.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to mark a street and press the rotary pushbutton.
To enter additional data for the navigation destination, turn the rotary pushbutton to House number/Intersection and press the rotary pushbutton, or
Turn the rotary pushbutton to End entry and press to confirm. The speller will appear on the MMI display Link.
You can enter the town or the post code.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to OK and press to confirm.
To start route guidance, turn the rotary pushbutton to Start route guidance and press to confirm. The route criteria and subsequently the map will be shown on the MMI display.
To copy a country into the entry field, turn the rotary pushbutton to Country and press the rotary pushbutton. You can now select a country from a list.
If you select Start route guidance after entering the town, the Centre of the town will automatically be set as the destination for the calculation of the route.
Note
If your navigation destination contains special characters such as the dashes in "Stratford-upon-Avon", simply switch between the speller for letters and the speller for numbers Link.
