The front towline anchorage is only mounted if the vehicle has to be towed.
The towline anchorage is screwed anti-clockwise into the screw connection (left-hand thread) which is located on the right side of the front bumper behind a cover cap.
To detach the cover cap from the bumper press the lower part of the cap inwards Fig. 1.
Take the towline anchorage out of the vehicle's tool kit Link.
Screw the towline anchorage into the screw connection as far as it will go Fig. 2 and tighten with the box spanner.
After use, unscrew the towline anchorage and fit the cover cap back on the bumper. Put the towline anchorage back in the vehicle's tool kit. The towline anchorage should always be kept in the vehicle.
