Audi MMI   Communication   Directory  Importing contacts
You can receive text messages with contacts in the vCard format (.vcf) and store the contacts in the directory.
Important: The telephone must be activated Link, and you must have received a text message with a contact in the vCard format (.vcf).
Press the control button for Text message.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Inbox and press the rotary pushbutton. The text messages you have received will appear on the MMI display.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to select the received text message and press the rotary pushbutton. The vCard will appear on the MMI display.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Options and press the rotary pushbutton. A list of possible options will be shown on the MMI display.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to Store contact. The contact will be copied into the directory as an address card.
Note
  • The address cards received as text messages are stored in the local MMI memory (private).
  • Whether you can send and receive address cards as text messages depends on your mobile phone. Please see the Audi mobile device database (www.audi.com/bluetooth) to find out which mobile phones support this function.
