The Channel Following function ensures that you remain tuned to the selected TV channel.
Select: Function selector button MEDIA > source TV tuner > control button Settings > Ch. Follow.
Channel Following on
When the Channel Following function is on, it tries to retain the current TV channel even if you leave its transmission area. To do so, the system automatically switches between alternative channels within reception range. For instance, if you leave the service area of a digital TV channel and an alternative channel can be received another way, the TV tuner automatically switches to the alternative channel (depending on reception conditions).
Channel Following off
When the Channel Following function is off, the system will not automatically switch between alternative channels. If you leave the transmission area of the currently selected TV channel, it may no longer be received. The alternative channels which are currently within reception range are displayed in the channel list and can be selected manually. The channel numbers are added to the channel names if they are available (e.g. BBC One (35)).
