Talking on the phone while driving has become commonplace. Now you can operate all relevant telephone functions conveniently and safely on the multi-function steering wheel. For this, your vehicle is equipped with a car telephone kit* or a phone pre-installation*.
When you switch on the ignition, a Bluetooth connection is automatically established between the MMI system and your bonded mobile phone. On some mobile phones you have to confirm the connection. The Bluetooth connection between the on-board phone system and the mobile phone is automatically terminated when you remove the ignition key from the ignition lock.
