Rear seats (four-seater): Head restraint

Rear head restraint: Release point

Centre rear head restraint*: Pull the head restraint all the way up before carrying a passenger on the centre rear seat WARNING!.
Adjusting head restraints
To raise the head restraint, take hold of it on both sides and move it up as required WARNING!.
To lower the head restraint, press button -A- Fig. 1 and slide the head restraint downwards.
Removing head restraints
Fold down the backrest Link.
Push the head restraint upwards as far as it will go.
Press the release point Fig. 2 -B- with the emergency key Link and press the button Fig. 1 -A-. At the same time, pull the head restraint out of the backrest WARNING!.
Installing head restraints
Push the posts of the head restraint into the guides until you feel them click into place.
Press the button -A- Fig. 1 and push the head restraint all the way down. It should no longer be possible to pull the head restraint out of the backrest.

  • Please observe the safety warnings Link.
  • Remove the rear head restraints only if this is necessary in order to attach a child seat Link. Install the head restraint again immediately after removing the child seat. Travelling with the head restraints removed or incorrectly adjusted increases the risk of severe injuries.
