Audi A6  Setting off  Driving  Tilt angle display
Applies to vehicles: with tilt angle display
The tilt angle display shows the inclination of the vehicle relative to the horizon. Both the transverse tilt angle -A- and longitudinal tilt angle -B- are displayed. Depending on the driving conditions, the display is normally accurate to within 1 °.
The white arrows show you the maximum angles achieved during a trip. These values are reset when you switch off the ignition.
The transverse tilt angle of your vehicle should never exceed the yellow zone on the scale. There is a risk that the vehicle may overturn when, or even before, the arrows enter the red zone WARNING!.
WARNING!
  • Always keep within the yellow zone on the scale. Your vehicle could overturn - risk of accident!
  • In certain situations a vehicle can overturn or slip sideways even if the transverse tilt angle is low. The tilt angle display cannot replace the full concentration of the driver. Please take special care, especially when travelling at higher speeds, to prevent the vehicle from overturning - risk of accident!
