This message appears if certain conditions have not been met during the stop phase and the start/stop system cannot start the engine again automatically. P will be selected automatically if the vehicle was in D or R. The START ENGINE STOP button must be used to start the engine.
Start/stop system: system fault. Function unavailable
There is a malfunction in the start/stop system. Drive to a workshop soon and have the fault rectified.
