Audi MMI   Controls  System settings
You can adjust the sound and volume of the MMI individually. The settings depend on the equipment fitted in your vehicle.
Press the TONE button.
-1- GALA* / DSP* / DSP [BOSE]*
  • GALA* (speed-dependent volume control): Select and confirm active/inactive to have the playback volume adjusted according to the interior noise level.
  • Sound focus*: Select and confirm all (evenly distributed sound focus)/driver (enhanced sound impression for the driver) or all/front/rear.
  • Surround level*: Turn the rotary pushbutton to adjust the volume of the surround effect.
  • AudioPilot* (dynamic background noise compensation): Select and confirm the option active/inactive. When this function is activated, the music volume is adjusted automatically depending on the interior noise level.
-2- Subwoofer* / -3- Bass / -4- Treble
You can adjust the Subwoofer*, Bass and Treble settings by turning the rotary pushbutton. New settings apply only to the currently activated audio source, allowing the settings of each audio source to be adjusted individually.
-5- Balance/fader (sound focus)
  • To set the left/right volume ratio: Move the rotary pushbutton to the left/right.
  • To set the front/rear volume ratio: Move the rotary pushbutton up/down.
